The Snarky Side of Handmade Notebooks

t all started because I couldn't find a notebook that felt like "me". They were too bland, too muted, just quite simply, not enough.

 

I wanted bold, funky, fun. I wanted less beige and more BOLD.

So I made it

and I haven't stopped making it since.

 

I want your notebook to feel like you. I want you to open it and see how bright and amazing you are reflected back. I want you to pick up your notebook and think, "Yes! I can't wait to start writing," and not, "ugh, this old thing again?"

I started BeeSpoke Bookery because I wanted fun, bright notebooks that were built to last. I wanted you to stop worrying about it falling apart after you've used it a couple of times before giving up and buying another one hoping it'll last longer this time.

As for the bookmarks, well, I've never found any that had a fun little edge to them. My snarky bookmarks are tiny paper cuts against book interruptions, the unintentional cliff hangers because someone is asking for you, and the dreaded Social Plans that halt your well-deserved and planned-in-advance night in. They are little handmade laminated rebellions against the need to go to work, to get off the couch, or to go People. Perfect for readers who have their own edge to them, just like me!

Everything is made in-house by Ronnie who is closely supervised by her sweet German Shepherd and her devious Black Cat.
